Business Development

Joe Griffin
Managing Director, Business Development

Mr. Griffin has 18 years of industry experience. At Gramercy, he focuses on new business development across a diverse set of institutional investors, including insurance companies, pensions, endowments/foundations, private banking platforms, and family offices.

Prior to joining Gramercy in September 2009, Mr. Griffin was employed by Lazard Asset Management for nine years where he was a Senior Vice President in the Institutional Marketing Group. He was responsible for developing new relationships and servicing existing clients in the corporate pension market segment.

Mr. Griffin received a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University in 2000. Additionally at Wesleyan University, Mr. Griffin played four years of Men's Varsity Basketball.  

Nicole Henderson
Vice President, Business Development

Ms. Henderson joined Gramercy in January 2015 and has eight years of industry experience. At Gramercy, Ms. Henderson focuses on new business development across a diverse set of institutional investors, including endowments, foundations, pension plans, funds of funds and family offices. She is responsible for sourcing, organizing and conducting calls and meetings to develop client relationships, and she works closely with the investor relations team in preparing customized marketing materials. Prior to focusing on new business development, Ms. Henderson was part of Gramercy's investor relations team.

Prior to joining Gramercy, Ms. Henderson was employed by Far Hills Group, LLC, a firm specializing in the placement of hedge fund and alternative investment offerings to institutional investors, where she was a Research Associate for nearly five years. At Far Hills, she was responsible for the firm’s due diligence efforts, developing marketing materials for numerous strategies and generating quantitative reports focused on manager differentiation.

Ms. Henderson received a BS from Wake Forest University with a major in Business and minor in Spanish.
